Ewan obliterates The Big Bang Theory

The Big Bang Theory is a “comedy” show that basically gets its humour from saying nerdy things in a sentence and then using canned laughter to make it a generic “funny” moment. I do like a few of the older episodes, but now shuffling its way onto Season 10, I got very annoyed. So much so that I told my friend, who just so happens to think that this is the best show ever.

I issued her a challenge. For every episode of The Big Bang Theory, I could name an entire Comedy¬†TV Show¬†that you could watch instead. All nine seasons, every episode, a different TV Show for each. Did I manage it? Hell yes I did. The stipulations were that I wasn’t allowed to use the internet to help me, so this was all from either memory or DVDs I actually own.

Ewan Rants: Walking Simulators and Gaming Narrative

One thing I’ve never liked is games that try to portray a story through a series of puzzles, walking around long rooms or environments and in general just games that are so plot heavy you get bogged down in it. Walking Simulators and in those Visual Narrative games, well, lets just say I’m not a fan of them. I had to search for an image for this article and I think I’ve found the best game ever. Not sure what it is, but I’m betting it’s the reason Konami have shifted to mobile games only.

Ewan Rants: Sports Games

I think as a game collector, there’s nothing more annoying than the amount of sports games available on pretty much every console. It’s extraordinary, most of these game series’ have been around since the early days of the Atari and Commodore 64 and have made it all the way to the current generation of gaming.

But why am I making a Ewan Rant’s about this? It seems completely harmless, sport games provide lots of fun and entertainment every year for millions globally. You hopefully picked out two words there.
